Recently, the largest domestic vacuum valve developed by CNNUC Xinneng passed the field test successfully at the test summary and on-site test and evaluation meeting of large-caliber electric vacuum valve with material.
The review meeting will be held at CNNUC Shaanxi Uranium Enrichment Co., Ltd. At the meeting, the project manager of China Nuclear New Energy Company reported to the experts on the development of large-caliber vacuum valves, and introduced in detail the test situation of valve charging condition assessment. The expert group reviewed the technical data of the working condition test of the electric vacuum valve, and witnessed the opening and closing action test, closing time and vacuum leakage test of the valve prototype on site. The expert group considers that after 3 months'test of the working condition of the prototype with material, the test results of the developed large-caliber vacuum valve meet the requirements of the assessment indicators and achieve the expected research objectives. The successful completion of the working condition assessment and field test fully demonstrates the reliability of the newly developed valve in the operation of the system.
In order to meet the needs of large-scale development of nuclear fuel processing industry in China and break through the key technology of large-caliber vacuum valves, the company independently invested in the development of the largest-caliber electric and manual vacuum valves in China in 2013. In view of the technical difficulties such as sealing and impact caused by the increase of valve caliber, the research and development technicians determined the design boundary conditions through repeated calculation and demonstration, solved key technical problems such as transmission mechanism, sealing and valve core structure, and solved some problems existing in the manufacturing process of the prototype to ensure the valves. The reliability and sealability of the door are verified by the type test and vibration measurement test.
The successful completion of the work condition assessment marks the success of the development of vacuum valve with the largest caliber in China, which is completely independent of intellectual property rights, and the technical index has reached the international advanced level. The successful development of the valve fills the gaps in China, lays the foundation for the innovation and improvement of relevant nuclear fuel processing technology, and is of great significance for improving the competitiveness of China's nuclear fuel processing industry. |
